Challah Recipe (Pareve)
2 ½ cups WARM water
2 Tablespoons yeast
1 Tablespoon white sugar
Stir and cover for 10
minutes.
ADD
1 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
3 cups flour
Mix together
½ cup oil
2 eggs
3 cups flour
Mix together
Add up to 3 more cups of
flour depending on your consistency.
Let the dough rise for a
minimum of 1 hour or overnight.
Add:
Chocolate chips, sprinkles, dried fruit or whatever you like in your challah!
Divide however you would
like and bake at 375 degrees for 20 – 60 minutes, depending on size.
When it browns on the
bottom, it is done.
Then ENJOY!!!
